About Me
My name is Michelle, and I am a singer/songwriter and I started Mold the Heart, L.L.C.
I always wrote songs growing up, without any instruments, just singing the story.
At 18, I went into the military and fell away from God completely, after having my innocence be preyed upon, and my naive view of the world shattered.
When I fell away from God, I fell into a lot of sin: sex outside of marriage, lust, binge drinking, same sex attraction, hate, etc.
I sinned and others sinned against me. This caused a lot of pain in my life, and others’ lives.
Long story short, it wasn’t ten years of counseling, medication, self-help books, a relationship, therapy and/or substance use that saved me, it was Jesus Christ.
Obeying his Word, being set free from demonic possession (literally) and the bonds of sin, it was the hope of eternal life with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ that saved me.
God led me to songwriting at the exact same time that He saved me, and this played a vital role in my healing and purpose for life, as I felt that God wanted me to combine my experiences and talents for the mission, vision, and values explained below.

Molding hearts of stone into hearts of flesh
Mission & Vision
It is the mission of Mold the Heart, L.L.C. to present the professional work of singer/songwriter Michelle—sharing her life stories, biblical beliefs, and deep faith in Jesus Christ primarily through music, but also via speaking and media. Michelle's music includes storytelling, teaches principles and values, offers comfort, hope, and joy, all while giving glory to God.
Michelle’s vision through Mold the Heart L.L.C. is to transform hearts all over the world with wholesome and high quality songs that relate to all aspects of human life, promote biblical values, and ultimately point to Jesus Christ as the hope for mankind.
Values
My music will aim to align with the values of God's Word, exclusively glorifying the One True God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), never false idols or created things as God.
While my music may address topics like intimacy, addiction, or self-harm, like the Bible, it will only do so when necessary to teach truth, tell a story, or teach a principle. It will never glorify sin for the sake of glorifying sin (e.g., sexual immorality, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lust, murder, theft, greed, self-harm, drunkenness, etc).
My music will use the least explicit words possible without compromising the witness and will avoid cussing, profanity, vulgar jokes, or using the Lord's name in vain.
Its purpose is to inspire righteous living, offer a safe, comforting harbor for pain, provide God's love without contradicting sanctification, proclaim good news, bind up the brokenhearted, bring liberty to captives, and produce mercy, justice, and compassion, turning hearts of stone into hearts of flesh.
